| ~ Player 197 to Seong Gi-hun after he mistaken him as Kang Dae-ho |
Player 197 is a minor character in Seasons 2-3 of the Netflix K-drama Squid Game. He was a contestant in the 37th Squid Game.
He was portrayed by Do Ye-joon.
Why isn't he Heroic or Villainous?
- Despite him voting for X in all the voting rounds before he died, that doesn't make him heroic because he doesn't do anything heroic for the whole show.
- Even though he killed Player 056, it was to avenge to his friend and him killing 358 was self-defense.

- The room where Gi-hun found his corpse is also the room where Player 232 got killed by Player 349.
